Residents in the cities of Claremont and Nedlands are one step closer to improving the ease and safety of moving around the area by bicycle and on scooters after 92% of respondents expressed support for a Bicycle Boulevard.
CATALYSE was approached by Five, a local community group, to understand community sentiment. With $0 budget and just 7 days to capture responses, we called on community support using a Plexus Engagement Model. Within days we had close to 300 responses.
Five is a local community group, mainly consisting of local mums and dads, who have volunteered tirelessly in their spare time to represent the community's wishes for better active transport solutions.
When the Department of Transport and WestCycle saw Five's submission for the City of Nedlands, both responded with 'wow!'. Mighty praise!
CATALYSE is delighted to have been able to provide pro bono community engagement services to support Five and the local community with such an important project.
We wish Five continued success with this project and thank everyone who helped out with the survey.
